The bioXclusters alliance aims to support the internationalization of European SMEs and to act as a single entry point to Europe for international healthcare players. To support this process, bioXclusters has built a network of “Gateways,” which enables win-win collaborations between European life sciences clusters and overseas markets.
In order to present new Gateway organizations, which facilitate SME softlanding in global key markets, bioXclusters organizes a session at BIO-Europe 2017 in Berlin, Germany: “Global Gateways for European life science clusters and their companies“. This year´s BIO-Europe partnering event is expected to attract over 3,800 industry attendees from over 60 countries, representing more than 2,000 companies for three days of high level networking. In addition to productive partnering, BIO-Europe offers high level workshops, panels, company presentations, and a lively exhibition.
The bioXclusters plus Gateway seminar will provide information about the Gateways’ internationalization Services. The seminar with a beer reception is open to all European regions, networks and science parks, and interested companies. Gateway services can foster soft landing, partner research and identification, as well as facilitate the development of research and commercial relationships across the world.
Presenting Gateways include (further are expected):
- ToHealth!, Toronto, Canada – Dr. Ella Korets-Smith
- Osaka BioHeadquarters / Osaka Prefecture – Senri Life Science Foundation, Japan – Dr. Tamio Sugawara
- Health Industries South Australia, Australia – Mr. Tony Mulcahy
After presentations from selected global gateway organizations, a “Berliner Weisse” beer reception offers the opportunity to exchange business cards and to network with European and global contacts. The session will start at 5:00 pm in the Room M6 in the upper floor of Berlin City Cube (Level 3). You will able to download an official Invitation here.
In Addition, you can visit bioXclusters at the booth of the European bioXclusters plus project (number 31), where our representatives from Biocat, BioM, BioPMed and Lyonbiopole will attend to your requests and explain about the bioXclusters initiatives and Gateways.
